William Brandt, Ph. D: Class of 1999

B.S. in Biomedical Engineering at University of Toledo, Ph. D. in Cell & Molecular Biology from University of Michigan, Postdoctoral Fellow in Dept. of Pathology, Johns Hopkins University.

Works for Johns Hopkins University, Baltimore, MD, as a Research Fellow. Has authored 11 peer-reviewed scientific articles and presented to his peers from San Diego to Italy. Will is a past author and editor of the Cellular & Molecular Biology Dept. Newsletter and the Corresponding Secretary of Tau Beta Pi Engineering Honor Society. He has mentored many undergraduate students and has received several grants including the current Maryland Stem Cell Research Fund Postdoctoral Fellowship Grant. Will also donates time and money to the health and welfare of underserved Baltimore youth.

Dr. Jessica Canary Herzog: Class of 1999

B.A. in Zoology from Miami University, B.S. of Biological Sciences from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine & Science, Doctor of Podiatric Medicine from Scholl College of Podiatric Medicine, North Chicago, IL.

Owner and operator of Castle Rock Foot & Ankle Care, Castle Rock, CO. Performs foot & ankle surgery 1-2 days per week in addition to seeing patients in her office the rest of the week. She is board qualified in her profession and volunteers as the Director of the Medical Journal Club for the Highlands/Presbyterian St. Luke’s Residency. Dr. Herzog has authored 3 different publications in her profession along with presenting numerous seminars to her colleagues. She is also active in teaching residents from her previous residency and she is a member of the local Rotary Club and Chamber of Commerce.

Mr. Robert (Rob) Kraner: Class of 1991

Attended The Ohio State University and Atlas Sales School. Owner and operator of Celina Moving and Storage, Inc, Celina, OH, for over 15 years; with a branch office in Bellville, TX, owner and operator of Yankee Run Hauling, and a small farming operation. Celina Moving & Storage has received the Milton M. Hill Quality Award for 7 years in a row, Atlas’ highest honor. Rob served two years as vice-president and two years as president on the Ohio Association of Movers board of directors. He presented to peers at the Atlas Forum in Chicago, and has trained and employed over 30 professional van operators to provide the highest standard of quality in the industry.

Rob has sponsored local baseball teams the past seven years, brought an Atlas truck and explained the moving industry to the Parkway Elementary Career Vehicle Day, made and served homemade ice cream for the Relay for Life Fundraiser, presented at Rotary and Lion’s Club meetings, donated and delivered boxes for the Kiwanis coat drive, participated in food drives, scholarship fundraisers, and donated to numerous local auctions as well as truck and manpower for collecting gifts towards the Angel Tree project.
