Jennifer (Carr) Rice
Class of 1996
Jennifer
was named First Team All-State in Volleyball during her senior season
and Third Team All-State in Volleyball during her junior season. She
earned First Team All-Mac in volleyball during her junior and senior
years. Jennifer was named First Team All District in volleyball during
her junior and senior seasons. She earned First Team All-Mac in girls’
basketball during her sophomore and senior seasons. She was named Mercer
County Player of the Year in girls’ basketball in 1995-96. Jennifer led
both Mercer and Van Wert Counties in scoring during her senior year.
She scored 1,022 points in her career. Jennifer played in the
Ohio/Indiana Border War All Star game after her senior year. Jennifer
earned four varsity letters in basketball and three varsity letters in
volleyball. She received The Parkway Scholar Athlete award all four
years of high school. Jennifer earned a full volleyball scholarship to
Tennessee Technological University. She earned four varsity letters at
Tennessee Technological University and was 14th in the nation in Aces
during her senior year.
